This beginner-friendly STEM workshop introduces the basic science and technology behind cryptocurrency. Through fun, hands-on activities, participants will learn how blockchain works, what smart contracts are, and why blockchain education is important for the future. We will also investigate how blockchain can solve real world problems using innovation. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore the tech shaping the future of money.

Year 7, 8 and 9
Targeting the use of using and creating digital systems that solve real world problems. Design, modify and prototype the user interface and user experience of a digital system in a student friendly way.
Mathematics
Our beginner-level mathematics workshop shows how math powers the world of cryptocurrency. Participants will learn concepts like patterns, how blockchain improves simple and compound interest and problem-solving. Tasks and activities have been specifically curated to help students investigate how blockchain technology can improve financial literacy. We’ll introduce basic ideas behind how a blockchain works, blockchain verification, and how blockchain technology can be implemented in a financial way. This workshop is perfect for anyone who enjoys math and wants to see how it’s used in exciting, real-world ways.

Business
This business-focused workshop is designed for beginners who want to understand how cryptocurrency is changing the way we buy, sell, and invest. Participants will learn about the basics of digital money, how crypto markets work, and what makes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies valuable. We’ll also explore how businesses are using crypto and what opportunities and risks exist in this growing space. No finance or business background is needed—just an interest in learning how crypto fits into today’s world.
